This Scripture was confirmation for me:
Show me your ways, O LORD, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long (Psalm 25:4-5)

About a week ago I stayed at my mum’s house, after a late prayer for Rwanda meeting and early in the morning, I sought the Lord yet again for confirmation that it was His will for me to go to Rwanda. Using my mum’s devotion, one of which I am not familiar, I was extremely blessed by the portion of scripture above. David’s heart’s cry.
Only to find that when I arrived home later that morning, Compassion had sent all of those travelling a Journal and Handbook and on the first day of our trip (Friday 26th June 2009) used this scripture to pray in line with as we begin our trip.
These additional prayer points were included:
We will praise in advance and pray without ceasing so please join us in agreement with the above prayer points as we prepare to travel.
I would like to remind and encourage all members of the body with the following two scriptures :
105Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.
17But no weapon that is formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall show to be in the wrong. This [peace, righteousness, security, triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the Lord [those in whom the ideal Servant of the Lord is reproduced]; this is the righteousness or the vindication which they obtain from Me [this is that which I impart to them as their justification], says the Lord.
