Excitment is growing as the team make the final preparations for what can only be described as a mission of a lifetime. The first team of representatives embarking on this trip to Rwanda are expectant about God’s hand, faithfulness, provision and protection of all things concerning and pertaining to this mission.
Those accompanying Pastor Dennis on this trip (26th June – 7th July 2009) are:
Clint Scott l Junior Sesay l Chris Scott l Sean Ballantyne l Vitor Da Silva l Steven Hunt l Angela Baxendine l Natasha Din-Gabisi l Janet Handy l Josephine Hart l Danielle Greenidge-Scott l Charlotte Hunt l Veronica Daley and Me (Michelle Scott).
WWMF’s partnership with Compassion has seen our members sponsor nearly 95% of the 130 children at the Kabujeje Student Centre in West of Gisenyi, Rwanda. This is our project, God’s children and we pray that we will always be a blessing to them.
During our trip among other things, we will be visiting the Kabujeje Centre and holding a funday for all the children.
Many £1 stores and 99p shops as well as various other stores have been raided across south London as hundreds of toys, games, arts and crafts sets and various other bits have been purchased to make the funday a lasting memory for the children.
Last saturday several of us attended a balloon making session which was fun, some were more skilled in this area than others (my balloon dog had a tiny body and a very long tail resembling more a reptile than a Canine) but our second balloon making session scheduled during our stay in Rwanda should help me with my proportions.

Danielle, Janet, Chris and Clint all worked hard to compile a list of all the things that the team had bought for the funday and what was outstanding. Each person travelling has agreed to fill their 2nd suitcase with an allowance of 23Kg solely with games and activities and gifts for the children.
