Compassion
Compassion are our trusted ministry partners working with children in poverty around the world. The following excerpt is taken from a letter sent to Compassion sponsors…
“In the midst of the carnage, communication with our staff in Haiti has been cut off. We are anxiously waiting for news of how the earthquake has affected the more than 64,600 children and their families that Compassion currently cares for through the over 225 churches we partner with in Haiti.
We know they will be depending on us for food, clean water and medical attention and our staff and churches in Haiti will be working tirelessly to ensure that their needs are met. We will be there for them in the months ahead as they come to terms with what has happened and we commit to continuing to show them God’s love and hope for the future.
Our immediate desire is to be found ready and able to do all we can to help them in rebuilding their shattered lives. Will you join us?”
