‘For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?’But we have the mind of Christ.’ 2 Corinthians vs16

What a wonderful thought that we have the mind of Christ.  However just knowing that we have the mind of Christ is not enough.  We have to make a conscious choice to take every thought captive and not let any thoughts fester away in our brains.   God through his holy spirit has given us the power to do this but it takes effort on our part.  We must come daily before the Lord and confess where we have sinned in word, thought and deed.  We must choose to lay our fleshly desires and thoughts down and ask God to fill our minds and bodies with his holy spirit.
God has given us the mind of Christ so we need to be obedient to him and exercise the mind God has given us.  Our minds and what we think are very important as it says in Proverbs 27:3 ‘For as he thinks in his heart so is he’. Every thought we have determines our actions and we need to make sure that, we have Godly thoughts in our minds and in our hearts so that in turn our actions will be pleasing and acceptable to the Lord.
