WWMF PRAYER 🙏🏽 ARMY fuel

However, we possess this precious treasure [the divine Light of the Gospel] in [frail, human] vessels of earth, that the grandeur and exceeding greatness of the power may be shown to be from God and not from ourselves.

We are hedged in (pressed) on every side [troubled and oppressed in every way], but not cramped or crushed; we suffer embarrassments and are perplexed and unable to find a way out, but not driven to despair; We are pursued (persecuted and hard driven), but not deserted [to stand alone]; we are struck down to the ground, but never struck out and destroyed.

Always carrying about in the body the liability and exposure to the same putting to death that the Lord Jesus suffered, so that the [resurrection] life of Jesus also may be shown forth by and in our bodies.

2 Corinthians 4:7-10

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER

Dear prayer warriors
Today, as believers worldwide join in prayer to mark the ‘International Day of Prayer’ for the persecuted church worldwide; pray that more governments around the world will wake up to the extremes persecution faced by so many believers around the globe. Pray that world leader will come under the conviction of The Holy Spirit and be moved with compassion to take decisive action.

At least 360 million Christians around the world experience high levels of persecution and discrimination. That’s an astonishing 1 in 7 of the global Christian population.

According to ‘Open Doors,’ Afghanistan, remains the most persecuted nation in the world; taking the top spot from North Korea in 2021. North Korea is now second followed by Somalia, Libya, Yemen, Eritrea, Nigeria Pakistan, Iran and India. These are the top ten nations where following Jesus costs the most. But there are another 40 persecuted nations known about.
How they need and are so grateful for our daily, ‘Holy Spirit’ led prayers!.
Let us also remember in prayer people in unreached places that only God knows about right now.

Pray for the Persecuted Church

  • PRAY for the Salvation of every tyrannical government leader under whose watch unimaginable persecutions are taking place

“The bigger the darkness, the easier it is to spot the light”.

the late Brother Andrew
  • PRAY that the precious Light of the Gospel will continue to shine forth, through the persecuted church worldwide, dispelling the darkness around them.
  • PRAY for ongoing courage for the suffering church in the face of extreme persecution. Let us remember, in particular the people of Iran, Eritrea, Nigeria, the ongoing conflict in Ukraine and all those in the body of Christ on the frontline offering practical and spiritual support in the midst of the most adverse and dangerous situations.
  • PRAY that the Joy of the Lord will manifest itself through the invigorating strength of the Lord in the face of adversity for every persecuted believer in the body of Christ worldwide.
  • THANK THE LORD that though the persecuted church may be hedged in on every side, troubled and oppressed, they are not crushed.
  • PRAY for all those imprisoned for their faith; remember in prayer their families and children; this month the focus of prayer for ‘Open Doors’ is persecuted children. So many children across the world have known the destructive consequences of war and displacement.
  • PRAY that God will provide children in war-torn countries like Iraq, Syria and Yemen with a bright future of safety, stability and freedom in their faith.
  • THANK THE LORD that in the midst of being pursued and hard driven the persecuted church is not deserted or stand alone; we stand WILL stand with them in prayer, with God’s help. Though they are struck down to the ground they are NEVER struck out and destroyed.
  • PRAY that every persecuted believer will know they are prayed for and not forgotten!

And if one member suffers, all the parts (share) the suffering: if one member is honoured, all the members (share) in the enjoyment of it.

1 Corinthians 12:26

Afghanistan

  • CONTINUE TO PRAY for believers in the Afghanistan. Pray that they find strength, wisdom, and supernatural peace in God’s promises. Pray that believers will receive the pastoral care that they need.
  • PRAY for the thousands of Afghans who are fleeing into neighbouring countries after Taliban’s takeover.
  • CONTINUE TO PRAY for the women. Many women fear that the Taliban rule mean they will be stripped of opportunities for education. Women involved in education during the past years could also be at risk – pray for their protection.
  • CONTINUE TO PRAY for the children. Pray for the schools and educational programs, that somehow they will function. And pray that God will preserve the dignity and wellness of the children, by raising up bold, prophetic warriors who will guard children’s safety and fight for their protection from all kinds of abuses.
  • CONTINUE TO PRAY that food will be accessible and affordable. People are struggling right now, because supply chains have broken down – as they are slowly reinitiated, inflation and access is becoming a problem.
  • CONTIUE TO PRAY for health and wellness. There is no certainty as to how the healthcare system is able to sustain itself with the Taliban government. Pray that the healthcare system will not collapse. Medicines are in short supply. Pray that clean water continues to run in taps – if water becomes contaminated in the cities, there will be widespread disease and illness.
    PRAY for Almighty God to deliver North Korea, a nation long enslaved by a brutal regime.

North Korea

  • PRAY for Kim Jong Un to be saved and for his tyrannical regime to collapse.
  • ASK THE LORD TO ARISE! on behalf of the suffering church in North Korea. Ask the Lord to put Kim Jong Un in fear of Him and make Kim Jong Un realise he is a mere man in desperate need of Salvation.
  • PRAY for Miraculous food supplies to be provided to feed the hungry. Many youths who cannot withstand the hunger resort to leaving North Korea so they can get their hands on a meal but as a result of this many young people are sold to China as sex slaves.
  • PRAY for truth of the Gospel to spread and liberate the nation from this evil regime filled with indoctrination and lies.
  • PRAY for safety for believers escaping North Korea; those who run the risk of being caught, deported, tried for treason and possibly disappear like mist in a prison cell.

Nigeria

More Christians are murdered for their faith in Nigeria than in any other country and violence is increasing.

  • PRAY for those who are mourning for loved ones, to know God’s peace.
  • PRAY that God would lovingly heal women and girls suffering trauma after sexual attacks.
  • CONTINUE TO PRAY for Leah Sharibu and all the other girls still in captivity, as far as we know.
  • PRAY that Nigeria’s government will take decisive action to protect all the citizens in the country.

IRAN

As thousands of women and men in Iran take part in protests after the death of 22-year-old Mahsa Amini, Iranian Christians ask the global church to be their voice and to pray for the nation.

“Lord Jesus, pour out Your peace and justice on Iran today. Comfort Mahsa Amini’s family as they grieve and seek answers about her death. Protect protestors from violence – help them to make their voices heard and so bring about greater freedom of true faith in the country. Help the church in Iran to unite in prayer and be a beacon of hope to their communities during this turbulent time. Amen”.

Prayer for our Pastors

Standing In The Gap In Prayer for our Pastors and Leadership

  1. I thank You, Father, that Your eyes are on our shepherd’s and Your ears are attentive to our pastor’s prayers and Your face is against those who plot evil against our pastor’s (1 Pet. 3:12). For I know that in all things You work for the good of Pastor Dennis and Rosemary and all pastor’s in the world who love You (Ro. 8:28 ). Who can accuse the pastors who are daily interceded for by Christ Jesus? (Ro. 8:33-34). Therefore, in all things our pastors are more than conquerors (Ro. 8:37). Thank You, God.

  2. Lord, we pray for discernment in exposing any schemes of the enemy against our pastor’s and all church leadership. Show our congregation how to pray against all powers of this dark world and the spiritual forces of darkness in heavenly realms. And, Lord, protect us as we wage warfare on behalf of our pastor’s and leadership (Eph. 6:11-12).

  3. Father, I thank You that no weapons formed against our pastor’s will prosper. Every tongue raised against my shepherd will be cast down. Rumors and gossip will be turned aside. For our whole leadership, will be still before the Lord and wait on You. Our pastor’s and all leadership will dwell in the shadow of the Most High God and will be delivered from terror, darts of doubt, and diseases (Ps. 91:5-6). Set Your angels about our leadership (Ps. 91:11) and no power of the enemy shall harm them (Lk. 10:19). Thank God forevermore!

  4. Lord, let Pastor Dennis, Pastor Rosemary and our Leadership have a discerning mind to prioritize the precious minutes in the day. Let our pastors discern what is most important and be guarded against the tyranny of the urgent (2 Cor. 11:14, 1 Jn. 4:1).

  5. Father, allow our pastors to glory only in the cross (Gal. 6:14). Keep our pastors from pride and pity. Let the cross be their reason for ministry.

  6. Jesus keep our pastor’s and leadership holy in every way (1 Pet. 1:16). Protect our shepherds from seducing spirits especially when they are tired and hard pressed. Give them comrades to help protect them, and to share with in personal holiness (Jas. 4:7). As our leadership draws near to You, draw near to our leadership (Jas. 4:8 ).

  7. I pray that the eyes of our leadership may be enlightened to know the hope to which we are called and know the riches of our glorious inheritance in the saints. Let our leadership know the incomparable great power which is in us who believe (Eph. 1:18-19). Let them see the full revelation of Jesus Christ (Gal. 1:12). Place in them a desire to know Christ and the power of His resurrection (Phil. 3:10).

  8. Lord, I lift up the hands of our pastor’s and his/her family. Place them in the shelter of the Most High to rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, You are their refuge and fortress. You will preserve their family time. You will cover their home. Your faithfulness will meet their financial needs in Christ Jesus (Phil. 4:19). You will command Your angels to guard them as they travel and win the lost. You have said, “I will be with [them] in trouble, I will deliver [them] and honour [them]. With a long life, I will satisfy [them] and show [them] my salvation” (Ps. 91:15-16). In Jesus’ name, I cancel all assignments of the enemy against them.

  9. In Jesus’ name, I speak to church hurts, abuse, and ungrateful forces to move. I speak to mountains of criticism and inordinate expectations to be cast into the sea. I speak to stress, excessive phone counselling, and fatigue to be cast into the sea, and I believe every need, vision, and dream of Pastor’s will be completed (Mk. 11:22-24, Phil. 4:19).

  10. Forgive those who hurt our leadership and speak against them, and may our leadership walk in forgiveness (Eph. 4:32-5:1). Guard our leadership from futile thinking (Eph. 4:17) and a vain imagination. Let every thought be taken captive to obey Christ (2 Cor. 10:3-5).

  11. In Jesus’ name, I bind the fear of failure and the fear of humankind (Jn. 14:1). Let our leadership’s confidence not be eroded by the daily resistance to the gospel or their vision. Allow our leadership to fear God more than people.

  12. Father, heal our shepherd’s heart of any grief caused by ministry. Bestow on our pastor’s a crown of beauty instead of ashes and anoint them with the oil of gladness instead of mourning. Clothe our shepherd’s with a garment of praise instead of a spirit of depression. I call our pastor’s an oak of righteousness, a planting of the Lord to display Your splendour (Is. 61:3).

  13. Keep our leadership in the midst of good and exciting worship. Keep our pastors from the traditions of men and religion which hold the form of godliness, but deny its power (2 Tim. 3:5). Give WWMF a vision of heaven (Isaiah 6, Revelation 4).

  14. With our shield of faith we cover our shepherd’s mind to quench all flaming darts of doubt or vain imagination or mental distractions (Eph. 6:16, Col. 2:6-8 ).

  15. Let the mind of Christ be strong in our leaders (1 Cor. 2:16).

  16. Lord, I stand against the enemies of my pastors and all in leadership prayer life: “busyness” (Acts 6:2-4), compulsions, compromise (Acts 5), unnecessary phone calls, chronic counselees, fatigue, sleepiness (Mt. 26:41), appetites, television, late meetings, over-commitments, and doubt. Let nothing hinder leadership’s time with You. Let our leadership rise up to seek You (Mk. 1:35), pray with other pastors and leaders (Acts 1:14), and pray without ceasing (1 Thess. 5:17). Give our leadership the time, the desire, and the place to pray (Acts 16:16). I rebuke in the name of Jesus any distractions from our leadership’s devotional life.

  17. Bless our pastors with rich study time (Acts 6:4, 2 Tim. 2:15).

  18. As Pastor’s Dennis and Rosemary Teach and preach, let them proclaim Jesus Christ (Col. 1:28 ). Let our pastor’s preaching be in the energy of the Holy Spirit.

  19. Lord, by Your Holy Spirit, anoint Pastor’s Dennis and Rosemary to preach, and bring apostolic results (Acts 2:37). Let all leadership in every department in the church flow in line with that anointing, As our pastor’s speak the Word, let signs and wonders follow confirming it (Mk. 16:20). Let the sick be healed; let the oppressed be set free. Anoint them with the truth (Mt. 16:17). Let people be cut to the heart and accept Jesus Christ.

  20. Lord, as You have promised, grant our beloved shepherd’s lasting fruit (Mal. 3:11, Jn. 15:16). Let our pastor’s converts become disciples who in tum disciple. Bless our pastors with disciples who grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ.

  21. Lord, keep our leaders in the fear of God. Let our leadership not fear people (Prov. 19:23). Give the leadership boldness to confront sin and church controllers. Honour our pastor’s stand for You. Come to our pastor’s rescue. I claim Psalm 35 for my shepherd.

For You are my praise.

Isaiah 53:3-5 (NKJV)

He is despised and rejected by men,
A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him;
He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.
4 Surely He has borne our griefs
And carried our sorrows;
Yet we esteemed Him stricken,
Smitten by God, and afflicted.
5 But He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed.

Malachi 3:6 (NKJV)

6 “For I am the LORD, I do not change;
Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.

Jeremiah 1:4-5 (NKJV)

4 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying:
5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you;
Before you were born I sanctified you;
I ordained you a prophet to the nations.”

Psalm 18:16- (NKJV)

16 He sent from above, He took me;
He drew me out of many waters.
17 He delivered me from my strong enemy,
From those who hated me,
For they were too strong for me.
18 They confronted me in the day of my calamity,
But the LORD was my support.
19 He also brought me out into a broad place;
He delivered me because He delighted in me.

5 Is it a fast that I have chosen,
A day for a man to afflict his soul?
Is it to bow down his head like a bulrush,
And to spread out sackcloth and ashes?
Would you call this a fast,
And an acceptable day to the LORD?
6 “Is this not the fast that I have chosen:
To loose the bonds of wickedness,
To undo the heavy burdens,
To let the oppressed go free,
And that you break every yoke?
7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,
And that you bring to your house the poor who are cast out;
When you see the naked, that you cover him,
And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning,
Your healing shall spring forth speedily,
And your righteousness shall go before you;
The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
9 Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer;
You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’
“If you take away the yoke from your midst,
The pointing of the finger, and speaking wickedness,
10 If you extend your soul to the hungry
And satisfy the afflicted soul,
Then your light shall dawn in the darkness,
And your darkness shall be as the noonday.
11 The LORD will guide you continually,
And satisfy your soul in drought,
And strengthen your bones;
You shall be like a watered garden,
And like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail.

Luke 8:43-48 (NKJV)

43 Now a woman, having a flow of blood for twelve years, who had spent all her livelihood on physicians and could not be healed by any, 44 came from behind and touched the border of His garment. And immediately her flow of blood stopped.
45 And Jesus said, “Who touched Me?”
When all denied it, Peter and those with him[a] said, “Master, the multitudes throng and press You, and You say, ‘Who touched Me?’”[b]
46 But Jesus said, “Somebody touched Me, for I perceived power going out from Me.” 47 Now when the woman saw that she was not hidden, she came trembling; and falling down before Him, she declared to Him in the presence of all the people the reason she had touched Him and how she was healed immediately.
48 And He said to her, “Daughter, be of good cheer;[c] your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

Psalm 103:2-5 (NKJV)

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul,
And forget not all His benefits:
3 Who forgives all your iniquities,

Who crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies,
5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things,
So that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Jesus Heals a Centurion’s Servant
5 Now when Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him, 6 saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, dreadfully tormented.”
7 And Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”
8 The centurion answered and said, “Lord, I am not worthy that You should come under my roof. But only speak a word, and my servant will be healed. 9 For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard it, He marveled, and said to those who followed, “Assuredly, I say to you, I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel! 11 And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. 12 But the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into outer darkness. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” 13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” And his servant was healed that same hour.

I have called you by your name;
You are Mine.
2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you.
When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned,
Nor shall the flame scorch you.
3 For I am the LORD your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I gave Egypt for your ransom,
Ethiopia and Seba in your place.
4 Since you were precious in My sight,
You have been honored,
And I have loved you;
Therefore I will give men for you,
And people for your life.
5 Fear not, for I am with you;
I will bring your descendants from the east, And gather you from the west;

Ephesians 3:17-19 (NKJV)

17 that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height— 19 to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

Philippians 4:6-7 (NKJV)

6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Matthew 4:23-25 (NKJV)

Jesus Heals a Great Multitude
23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people. 24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them. 25 Great multitudes followed Him—from Galilee, and from Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and beyond the Jordan.

Acts 9:40-42 (NKJV)

40 But Peter put them all out, and knelt down and prayed. And turning to the body he said, “Tabitha, arise.” And she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter she sat up. 41 Then he gave her his hand and lifted her up; and when he had called the saints and widows, he presented her alive. 42 And it became known throughout all Joppa, and many believed on the Lord.

Isaiah 41:10 (NKJV)

10 Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Isaiah 40:28-31 (NKJV)

28 Have you not known?
Have you not heard?
The everlasting God, the LORD,
The Creator of the ends of the earth,
Neither faints nor is weary.
His understanding is unsearchable.
29 He gives power to the weak,
And to those who have no might He increases strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary,
And the young men shall utterly fall,
31 But those who wait on the LORD
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.

Psalm 91:1-2, 15 (NKJV)

91 He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2 I will say of the LORD, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”
15 He shall call upon Me, and I will answer him;
I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him

Luke 18:35-43 (NKJV)

A Blind Man Receives His Sight
35 Then it happened, as He was coming near Jericho, that a certain blind man sat by the road begging. 36 And hearing a multitude passing by, he asked what it meant. 37 So they told him that Jesus of Nazareth was passing by. 38 And he cried out, saying, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!”
39 Then those who went before warned him that he should be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”
40 So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be brought to Him. And when he had come near, He asked him, 41 saying, “What do you want Me to do for you?”
He said, “Lord, that I may receive my sight.”
42 Then Jesus said to him, “Receive your sight; your faith has made you well.” 43 And immediately he received his sight, and followed Him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

2 Corinthians 4:17-18 (NKJV)

17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, 18 while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Psalm 25:2-3 Version (NKJV)

2 O my God, I trust in You;
Let me not be ashamed;
Let not my enemies triumph over me.
3 Indeed, let no one who waits on You be ashamed;
Let those be ashamed who deal treacherously without cause.

Romans 8:31, 37 (NKJV)

God’s Everlasting Love

The crawling locust,
The consuming locust,

My great army which I sent among you.
26 You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied,
And praise the name of the LORD your God,
Who has dealt wondrously with you;
And My people shall never be put to shame.
27 Then you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel:
I am the LORD your God
And there is no other.
My people shall never be put to shame.

Psalm 30:1-3 (NKJV)

I will extol You, O LORD, for You have lifted me up,
And have not let my foes rejoice over me.

You have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit

23 For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. 24 Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
