Pamela Suran shares at the Women of Destiny Conference 2010

The morning seminar consisted of two annointed women sitting round a table (a traditional Jewish custom) and sharing the life of Jesus and focusing on His love for women.

Our dear Rev Taylor and “Pamela Suran  a Jerusalem Artist who paints fine art, limited-edition giclee prints of biblical scenes and lanscape of Israel. She is also a licensed Israeli tour guide.” (taken from her website) explored the unique position that women held in the bible in relationship to and with Jesus. Pamela, a messianic Jew demonstrated her gift as a theologian and historian, we were educated.

This rare occasion saw two female scholars of the Word of God (Jew and Gentile ) encourage women as they explored the role of women in Jewish tradition, the experience of the woman with the issue of blood, the servant girl who identified Peter as well as several other women in the bible  and much much more. This is just snippet of wonderful 3hour  conversation about our Lord that took place.

In the evening Pamela proclaimed a prophetic word over our church and its connection to Israel. She expanded on the servant girl who exposed Peter and the Jewish tradition of women observing from windows. We saw the spiritual significance and importance of our role as watchmen and intercessors. Pastor Dennis closed demonstrating the the divine hand of God in connecting us with Pamela and Israel and led us in powerful prayer during this kairos moment in God’s time.

Such depth of experience, biblical knowledge and annointing  experienced in the blessed and divine days needed to be observed. “Ye Watchmen”( Isaiah 62: 6-7)

Prayer for Morocco in North Africa

Muhammad VI, who became king in 1999, is the highest political, military and religious authority in Morocco. In spite of his efforts to change things in the country, a large proportion of the population is very poor, and often rich and powerful people employ poorer people with promises to pay them, but which often do not materialise.

One man has long hours of work and low pay. He and many of his co-workers wait for weeks for their promised salaries. They need to borrow money to support their families or even borrow for special expenses such as the beginning of the school year, the added food needs during Ramadan and the feast of the slaughtering of a sheep during the Aid El-Kabir. They must accept the unjust treatment, because their employer can send them away whenever he likes.

Prayer Starters:

  • Pray that the king may continue to lead his country in a wise and godly way. Some authorities have persecuted Moroccan believers, many have been threatened and some jailed. Many more Moroccans need to discover the forgiveness and new life which is found in the Messiah.
  • Authorities and employers need to consider God’s wisdom in dealing with employees: “Pay the hired man his wages each day before sunset, because he is poor and counting on it. …” (Deut. 24:15 and Col. 4:1). The employees need to discover God’s plan for their lives and do their jobs faithfully and well (Col. 3:22-25).
