Malachi 3-4; Psalm 150; Revelation 22

Malachi 3

Malachi 3:2-5 Lord, this last day of the year 2012, I thank You for Your grace and mercy that has brought us through. Do whatever You must do to purify my heart and to refine me like metal. Like a strong soap that whitens clothes, in Your grace and with Your mercy remove anything in my life that is not pleasing You. Help me to submit to Your work Lord as the refiner and purifier. Lord let my worship of You come from a purified heart. Help me to serve You from clean motives. Lord I commit myself to true worship, so that I will avoid mere formalism.

Malachi 3:6 Lord, I praise You because You do not change, You are the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).

Malachi 3:10 Gracious God, help me to be a faithful steward of all You have given me. Thank You for Your promise that if I am faithful, You will be faithful and open the windows of heaven and pour out a full and abundant blessing.

Malachi 3:14 Lord Almighty, I’m so grateful for the privilege of serving You.

Malachi 3:16 Father, may my name always be found among those who fear You and love to think about You.

Malachi 4

Malachi 4:2 Thank You Father for the healing righteousness that You sent through Your Son Jesus Christ. May He rise in more people’s hearts like the bright morning sun.

Malachi 4:3 Lord, may we see the prophetic Word of God go fourth and be fulfilled in 2013 so powerfully that we will see the hearts of parents turn towards their children, and the hearts of the children turn towards their parents. In Jesus name we ask it, The Son of the Living God.

Psalm 150

Psalm 150:6 Lord, I praise You! Let every thought and deed, my entire being, reverberate with Your praise! All through 2013.

Revelation 22

Revelation 22:1-5 I give praise to You, O Sovereign God, and to the Lamb. You are Lord over all the earth and the light of heaven. You will reign forever and ever over Your beautiful kingdom. I long to see Your face!

Revelation 22:7 Lord You are coming soon! I want to be one of those who obey the prophecy written in this scroll.

Revelation 22:7 Lord, help to have great discernment in 2013, so that I will not worship any other thing but YOU, my King Nd my God.

Esther 5-8; Psalm 23; Revelation 7

Esther 5

Esther 5:3 Lord, more than any king or ruler, You have sovereign power to accomplish Your will on earth. You have called me to fast and pray for Your help and for the protection of my love ones and family. Never let me take Your favour lightly. Hear and grant me my request.

Esther 5:14 Lord, how utterly frightening it is to see the wicked delight in their wicked schemes. Touch the hearts of those plotting wickedness in our community today! May the grace and truth of the gospel change them for good.

Esther 6

Esther 6:1-9 How perfect Your timing is, Lord! Just when Haman plans to have Mordecai exterminated, You cause the king to discover Mordecai’s good deed and have him honoured. Your perfect will is accomplished even when I think it’s impossible. I praise and honour You!

Esther 6:10-12 You rescue those who are humble, but you humiliate the proud. Lord, You have bought light to my life; my God, You light up my darkness…..All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection (Psalm 18:27-28, 30).

Esther 7

Esther 7:3-4 Esther speaks out on behalf of her people, having waited for the right time to tell the king she is a Jew, God’s time. God’s timing is always better than your own. Ask The Lord to teach you how to hear His voice and wait for His plan.

Esther 8

Esther 8:1-2 How faithful You are, O my God! You bless abundantly. Even when the events of life look their darkest, I can trust You. You were faithful to Mordecai and Esther. And I know You will always be faithful to me.

Esther 8:7-14 God gives His people His own authority to bring about change in the world. Worship Him for the unspeakable honour of serving Him and carrying His name throughout the earth.

Esther 8:17 Celebrate God’s goodness in prayer and praise! Let your celebration be a launching pad for proclaiming the gift of eternal life to unbelievers in your life.

Psalm 23

Psalm 23:1 Lord, You are my shepherd, because You have everything I need.

Psalm 23:3 Please renew my strength and guide me along right paths, so that all I am and all I do bring honour to Your name.

Psalm 23:4  Dark valleys lie along life’s pathway for everyone. Pray for those you know who are walking that dark road today.

Revelation 7

Revelation 7:9 Thank and praise the Lord for the way He has preserved for His glory, throughout history, holy priesthood of people from every nation, tribe, people, and language.

Revelation 7:12 Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honour and power and strength belong to You, my God, forever and ever.

Revelation 7:13-17  I praise You, Lamb of God, the Good shepherd, for Your promises of eternal nourishment, refreshment, shelter, protection, and joy.

Esther 3-4; Psalm 141; Revelation 5

Esther 3

Esther 3:1-2 Father God, Mordecai refused to bow to anyone but You, even though that made him enemies. In the eyes of the world, we could seem foolish and narrow minded because of our devotion to You. Help me never to forsake Your love for fear of people. We live to one day hear, “Well done, my faithful servant!”

Esther 3:8-9 Pray today for the leaders of our nation. Ask God to help them resist, unlike Haman, the temptation to use their power to advance their personal agendas, at the expense of the people they lead.

Esther 3:12-15 Doom seems certain! The king has issued a decree for the destruction of the Jews. But God has another plan! Even when it seems things are going hopelessly wrong, tell God you are trusting Him to protect and deliver you.

Esther 4

Esther 4:1 Mordecai does not go into hiding at the news of Haman’s attack. He goes to The Lord with fasting. Let us take time to fast and pray for the persecuted body of Christ everywhere.

Esther 4:13-14 Every age and every generation has “such a time as this” Commit yourself to finding and living out the destiny planned by God for your life. Tell Him that you don’t want to settle for anything less.

Psalm 141

Psalm 141:3-4 Take control of everything I say today, Lord, and keep my lips sealed. Help me not to lust for evil things or to participate in anything wicked.

Psalm 141:5 God, let me be in a constant attitude of prayer today (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

Revelation 5

Revelation 5:12 You are worthy, Lamb who was killed. You are worthy to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing.

Esther 1-2; Psalm 133; Revelation 4

Esther 1

Esther 1:10-11 Xerxes’ court sounds a lot like our own culture. Bad decisions are made in a drunken stupor and a woman’s physical beauty measures her worth. Pray for God to lead our culture to a new understanding of self-control and self-worth.

Esther 1:20 Lord, You never intended that women should respect their husbands out of fear of rejection or abuse. Yet many do. The pain and pressure for many within marriage today is overwhelming. Pour out You Spirit on our Land and restore marriage to Your original intent even though man is trying to redefine marriage. Lord Your intent of marriage is a relationship between a man and a woman based on mutual love and respect.

Esther 2

Esther 2:1-4 Rash decisions made in anger rarely lead to good results, unless the Lord intervenes. But Xerxes’ grief over losing his queen advances God’s plan for his people.
Is a recent rash decision causing you or someone you know pain? Ask God to intervene and redeem the situation.

Esther 2:20 We still belong to You Lord, You are holding our right hand. You will keep on guiding us with Your counsel, leading us to a glorious destiny (Psalm 73:23-24).

Psalm 133

Psalm 133:1 Lord, we are told to strive for the unity of the church in all we do. Harmony among family and friends is a wonderful thing, Lord, but it seems like I less and less of it. I pray for unity in my church and family and community.

Revelation 4

Revelation 4:1-5 Picture the throne and the One sitting on it and the brilliant gems that He resembles. Picture the twenty-four thrones around it. Praise and adore the One on the throne.

Revelation 4:8 Holy, holy, holy, are You, Lord God Almighty. You are the One who always was, who is, and who is still to come. Reign as Holy King over all my heart.

Revelation 4:11 You are worthy. O Lord our God, to receive glory and honour and power. You created everything. Everything that exists including me exist for Your pleasure.
