Day 16: Prayer over Portrush

The Big Lunch as part of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations

The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Grace

The grace reads:

“O God, the author of peace and lover of concord, we give You thanks for the Diamond Jubilee of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth; for her steadfast faith and for her royal service to this nation and all the peoples of the Commonwealth.

Bless the food before us and the people beside us; may the sharing of this meal strengthen our communities, and nurture the bonds between us of friendship, hope and trust.

We ask this in the Name of Jesus Christ who reigns as Servant of all. Amen.”

Decree:

I AM THE GIVER OF GREAT WISDOM

“If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault.” (James 1:5)

We decree that at this time of joy and celebration, honour and moral authority continue to be given to the Monarchy.

Blessing:

We bless all members of the Royal Family to know the One true God through His son Jesus Christ. We bless them to love and trust Him, walk in His wisdom and bring glory to His name.

We bless you that justice and righteousness might take their proper place within your boundaries. We stand in the mighty name of Jesus and bless you Portrush. That you might prosper under the mighty hand of God.

We bless you that the Father’s compassion might fall upon your people.

We bless your poor that they might be lifted up.

We bless you that the knowledge of Jesus might come in amongst you like a flood.

We bless the people of God in (name of city) that they might rise up with servant authority and become a people of blessing.

Prayer of Protection

Almighty Father, we come to You in the name of Your Son Jesus Christ, and in that mighty Name we break the power of every strategy and assignment sent against the British Isles and Ireland. We pray the mighty covering of the Living Blood of Jesus Christ over our villages, towns and cities, over our coastlands, seaports and airports.

We ask that You release the angelic host to protect us from every attack and lift each citizen above every circumstance and crisis. We affirm the finished work of Christ over all demonic forces and decree that no weapon formed against the plans and purposes for the British Isles and Ireland will prosper, and we decree that no longer will violence be heard in our land, or destruction within our borders.

We bless the atmosphere to be charged with peace and order. Amen.

Day 15: Prayer over Castletown

At her Coronation, the Queen promised to maintain the Laws of God, and the true profession of the Gospel. She received a Bible, and it was declared, “Here is wisdom. This is the Royal Law. These are the lively oracles of God.” When Queen Elizabeth took the Coronation Oath on 2 June 1953, her first covenant promise was to Almighty God and then to us, her subjects, to govern according to our laws and customs

Decree:

I AM THE SPIRIT OF MIGHT

“The Spirit of the Lord will rest upon Him, the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding, the Spirit of counsel and of might” (Isaiah 11:2)

We decree that Her Majesty be surrounded with godly advisers, those who will encourage her to fulfil the promises she made at her Coronation.

Blessing:

We bless Her Majesty to be strengthened with all might according to His glorious power, unto all patience and long-suffering with joyfulness.

Day 14: Prayer over Liverpool

Decree:

I AM WITH YOU IN THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH

“So do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

We decree that those in our nation today who are walking in darkness and despair will know the love of the One who upholds them with His righteous right hand.

Blessing:

We bless them to know that although weeping lasts for a night (a season), joy will come in the morning.

Decree:

I AM YOUR STRENGTH

“The Lord is my strength and my song, He has become my salvation.” (Exodus 15:2)

We decree that all people from every tribe, tongue and nation be strengthened with power through His Spirit in their inner man.

We bless each one to know His love and be filled with all the fullness of God.

Day 12: Prayer over Stoke-on-Trent

Decree:

I AM THE LAMB SITTING ON THE THRONE

“For the Lamb at the centre of the throne will be their Shepherd.” (Revelation 7:17)

We decree that London will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Blessing:

Aaronic Blessing (see below)

Lamb of God, we bless the atmosphere over London and the Olympic Stadium to be charged with peace and order. We bless the brooding of the Holy Spirit over the land, the air, the water and space in order that the full purposes of God spring forth.
