14th Jan 2010: Let our actions and decisions be led by your word

Your word (is) a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Psalms 119:105

”Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house ont the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. ”But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. And great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27

But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man observing his natural face in a mirror: for he observes himself, goes away, an immediately forgets what kind of man he was. But he who looks into the perfect law of liberty and continues (in it), and is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of the work, this one will be blessed in what he does. James 1:22-25

12th Jan 2010: Give us understanding and revelation in your word

Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, That we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know (them), because they are spiritually discerned 1 Corinthians 2:12-14

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The Words that I speak to you are spirit, and (they) are life. John 6:63

11th Jan 2010: We want to hear when you speak

He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned. Isaiah 50:4-5

Listen carefully to Me, and eat (what is) good, And let your soul delight itself in abundance. Incline your ear, and come tom Me. Hear, and your soul shall live; Isaiah 55:2-3
