10th Jan 2010: We will chase after knowing you Lord

Come, and let us return to the LORD; For he has torn, but He will heal us: He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On the third day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. Let us know, Let us pursue the knowledge of the LORD. His going forth is established as the morning; He will come to us like the rain, Like the latter (and) former rain on the earth. Hosea 6:1-3

But what things were gained to me, these I have counted loss for Christ. Yet indeed I also count all things loss for the excellence of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them as rubbish, that I may gain Christ and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which (is) from the law, but that which (is) through faith in Christ, the righteousness, which is from God by faith; that I may know Him and the power is His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death, if, by any means, I may attain to the resurrection from the dead. Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Philippians 3:7-12

9th Jan 2010: Help us to love you with our lives

”If you love Me, keep My commandments. John 14:15

If someone says, ”I love God,” and hates his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God (must) love his brother also. 1 John 4:20-21

8th Jan 2010: Strengthen our inner man so we can receive love and care from you

That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with might through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love, ma be able to comprehend with all the saints what (is) the width and length and depth and height‐‐ to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all fullness of God Ephesians 3:16-19

Then He came to Simon Peter. And (Peter) said to Him, ”Lord, are you washing my feet?” Jesus answered and said to him, ”What I am doing you do not understand now, but you will know after this.” Peter said to Him, ”You shall never wash my feet!” Jesus Answered him, ”If I do not wash you, you have no part with me.” Simon Peter said to Him, ”Lord, not my feet only, but also (my) hands and (my) head!” John 13:6-9

7th Jan 2010: Lead us back to our first love

Nevertheless I have (this) against you, that you have left your first love. Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent and do the first works, or else I will come to you quickly and remove your lamp stand from its place‐ unless you repent Revelation 2:4-5

Therefore, behold, I will allure her, Will bring her into the wilderness, And speak comfort to her. I will give her vineyards from there, And the valley of Achor as door of hope; She shall sing there; An in the days of her youth, As in the day when she came up form the land of Egypt. ”And it shall be, in that day,” Says the LORD, ”(That) you will call me ’Husband,’ And no longer call me ’My Master,’ Hosea 2:14-16
