Pray For God’s Glory To Be Revealed In The Earth

Gods-Glory

1 Samuel 17

1 Samuel 17:8 Jesus, the enemy is strong and terrifying beyond description. We would still be slaves to our flesh and death if You had not fought the battle for us. Words can never thank You enough for Your gift of life; I give You my heart.

1 Samuel 17:26 How I love David’s young heart, Lord. He is appalled that the Israelite soldiers have allowed Goliath to defy God. Give me a bold and courageous heart, Lord, when people in my world defy and deny You.

1 Samuel 17:28 Jealousy can cause you to stand in God’s way, especially when you know the person well, like David’s brothers knew him. Pray God’s blessings on someone that He is using powerfully. Also, ask the Lord to show you ways you can support him or her.

1 Samuel 17:37 David bases his faith for the future on God’s faithfulness in the past. Take a few moments to reflect on all the ways God has worked in your life. Ask Him to increase your faith through them today.

1 Samuel 17:45 Bless the Lord who is my rock. He gives me strength for war and skill for battle. He is my loving ally and my fortress, my tower of safety, my deliverer. He stands before me as a shield, and I take refuge in Him. (Psalm 144:1-2)

God’s Glory

Exodus 33:18-23 Then Moses said, “I pray You, show me Your glory!” And He said, “I Myself will make all My goodness pass before you, and will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and I will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show compassion on whom I will show compassion.” But He said, “You cannot see My face, for no man can see Me and live!”

John 1:14 And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.

2 Corinthians 4:6 For God, who said, “Light shall shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ.

Hebrews 1:3 And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,

Romans 6:4 Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in newness of life.

Psalms 19:1 The heavens are telling of the glory of God; And their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.

Psalms 138:5 And they will sing of the ways of the LORD, For great is the glory of the LORD.

Deuteronomy 5:24 “You said, `Behold, the LORD our God has shown us His glory and His greatness, and we have heard His voice from the midst of the fire; we have seen today that God speaks with man, yet he lives.

Psalms 102:16 For the LORD has built up Zion; He has appeared in His glory.

Isaiah 60:1-2 “Arise, shine; for your light has come, And the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. “For behold, darkness will cover the earth And deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you And His glory will appear upon you.

Psalms 63:2 Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, To see Your power and Your glory.

Psalms 90:16 Let Your work appear to Your servants And Your majesty to their children.

Isaiah 42:8 “I am the LORD, that is My name; I will not give My glory to another, Nor My praise to graven images.

Isaiah 59:19 So they will fear the name of the LORD from the west And His glory from the rising of the sun, For He will come like a rushing stream Which the wind of the LORD drives.
