Three services held in Nicosia

Scripture Reflection

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” – John 7:37-39

Early Morning Departure

It was still dark as members of the group awoke and got ready to meet the coach to Nicosia where the team would be ministering. As we walked to our meeting place the normally bustling harbour was silent.

We sat and talked quietly amongst ourselves while we waited in the crisp morning air for the coach to arrive. Some of the group had returned home. God had used them in a tremendous way!

A Significant Day in God’s Calendar

We came to Cyprus just before the start of Sukkot, the Feast of Tabernacles, tomorrow would be the last day of Sukkot and today our final day of ministry. God had allowed us to be in Cyprus at this very significant time.

Ministry in Two Fellowships

When we arrived in Nicosia, one half of the group went to a small church led by Pastor Marcela, (Church of God World Mission) where the Pastor and most of the congregation were from the Philippines.
The other half went to the Sri Lankan Christian Fellowship.

At both churches there was a dynamic and powerful move of the ‘Holy Spirit’ through praise and worship and the inspired Word of God delivered under the anointing by Rev Taylor and Elder Chris.

As the invitation was given to those who didn’t know Jesus, Praise God, there was a wonderful response across both fellowships.

United Praise Service in the Afternoon

In the afternoon the whole WWMF team came together to attend a praise service at the Church of God World Mission. The event was also attended by other churches in Nicosia.

God used Rev Taylor as His chosen vessel to bring forth a word in season. She exhorted those present to let their faith in accordance with God’s will, release from His kingdom what they needed from Him.

Heaven Came Down in Worship

As Sincere Praise ministered in song led by Minister Jenny, the praises went up and heaven came down. It was as if the flood gates of heaven had opened! Just as on the last day of the feast when Jesus cried out! “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink. He who believes in me out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” Living, rejuvenating, refreshing, spiritual water was poured out all over the sanctuary.

As Every Praise to our God was sang, the whole sanctuary erupted in rapturous adoration as people jumped, danced and clapped their hands in jubilation and in the liberty and the freedom that only Christ can bring.

We can truly say, “Lord God you are worthy of all the praise! The glory! and the honour! It all belongs to you.”

A Spirit of Love and Hospitality

The team received such warm hospitality given with a depth of love and generosity from the Fellowship that was truly humbling. The Fruit of the Spirit was manifest in its entirety.

We know that nothing worthwhile can be achieved without prayer. It has the power to change circumstances and transform lives. We want to thank everyone who prayed for this mission trip to Cyprus. May God continue to bless you and renew your strength as you wait upon Him.

We want to give God the highest praise from grateful hearts that are overwhelmed by all that He has done and continues to do.

Limassol Sunday Service at Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ

Sunday 5th October
Limassol

Daniel 2 v 20 & 22
Praise the name of God forever and ever, for He has all wisdom and power (NLT).

He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him.
(NKJV )

We awakened on Sunday morning to the warm golden rays of glorious sunshine in a clear blue sky. It was an early start for the group as we left Paphos for the 1.5 hour journey to Limassol, situated on the southern coast of the island. Our diverse group ranged in age from a little toddler to two grandmothers in their nineties. Each one had their part to play in God’s marvellous plan as we later learned during our time of sharing.

As we travelled South East we passed mixed terrain; majestic mountain ranges, lush areas of green vegetation interspersed with bright flowering shrubs contrasted by dry, arid, sun scorched regions.

We were greeted by Pastor Christadoulos and his wife when we arrived at the building they are now using for their services.

As Sincere Praise sang the sweet presence of the Holy Spirit filled the sanctuary. There was a visible change on the faces of those present as the Holy Spirit was able to move unhindered. Each song selected by Minister Jenny was under the divine inspiration and guidance of the Holy Spirit for that specific moment in time and in keeping with the needs of those present.

Reverend Taylor delivered a Kairos word which was for the appointed time.

Pastor Dennis shared a prophetic word on hope. He stated that he is always conscious about time . Our days are numbered and it is so important not to waste one second doing something that has already been done. Some things God has already predestined for us.

During his message Pastor expressed that the Word of God tells us that God makes all things beautiful in its time. The onus is on us to understand God’s timing. We can do the right thing at the wrong time.

God says in Jeremiah 29 v11, “He has come to give us a future and hope.” He takes the broken pieces of our lives and makes them into something beautiful.

Pastor concluded by declaring, “All that the devil has stolen from us is coming back.”

Pastor Christadoulos and his wife were so encouraged when they heard these messages. They shared that they are in the midst of a terrible crisis. Even their lawyers have told them that there is no hope. They said it could only be God that led minister Jenny to come at this time to their church after many years of not coming to Cyprus. It could only be God that led Rev Taylor and Pastor Dennis to bring such specific messages that have so encouraged them and given them hope.

To you Lord God belongs honour and glory!! You are the revealer of deep and secret things.

Sincere Praise Concert we had at the Harbour in Paphos

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring good news, who proclaim peace, who bring good tidings, who proclaim salvation, who say to Zion, “Your God reigns!” Isaiah  52:7

A troop of WWMF soldiers, in the Lord’s army, descended on Kato in Paphos with one mission in mind. To tell as many as possible about the good news of Jesus Christ. This would go out in word and song, through a gospel concert, to be held in the harbour later that evening.

Some of the group had never been to Cyprus before, but all were resolute in their mission to ensure that all those they came into contact with had an opportunity to hear the Good News of the Gospel. They left no stone unturned. A grandmother pushed her granddaughter in her buggy while distributing leaflets, such was their determination to let nothing stand in their way. The WWMF group fully embraced the word the Lord had impressed on Pastor Dennis at the beginning of the year to build Him an army. As they stepped out in faith the Holy Spirit did the rest.

People gathered an hour or more prior to the start of the concert. Tourists, together with local people filled the seating areas and the hum of excited chatter filled the air.

As Sincere Praise opened with a jubilant song of praise…”High and lifted up in all the earth is who you are,” Jesus was indeed lifted up. People stood and begun clapping their hands in time to the music.

A blind man who was seated on the front row was moved to tears and told one of the group, as she helped him out at the end, that he didn’t want to leave.

There was a hush as Rev Taylor shared a message of hope. In a world where we see chaos all around us people need the hope that is found in Jesus.

Pastor Dennis gave a Holy Spirit led invitation for people to receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour . We praise God for the timely response.

People were reluctant to leave, there were cries for more, some wanted to share what they had experienced. One lady said she cancelled a dinner engagement to attend.  She was so overwhelmed by what she experienced that she recorded the event on video and sent it out to people she knew in different countries around the world.  She expressed that she had never experienced anything like it.

Another man and his family wanted to know more about following Jesus.  He was put in contact with a local church and sent a link to a recent sermon by Rev Taylor titled:  What must I do to be saved.

Thank you, Jesus! Mission accomplished!

Sincere Praise Mission Trip to Slovenia and Croatia: Sunday Evening Service

Sincere Praise – Final Service, Sunday Evening

Baptist Church, Rijeka

Journey to Rijeka

We travelled two hours after lunch on Sunday afternoon, arriving in good time to have a sound check and pray, trusting God for a breakthrough.

Anticipation and Atmosphere

People came with great anticipation and expectation. Approximately 60% of the congregation were unchurched individuals who had been invited either by a friend or a friend of a friend.

The word had spread like wildfire that a gospel choir from London was coming to the city. The venue, a modern new-build church, was packed.

An Outpouring of the Holy Spirit

From the moment Sincere Praise sang their first song, you could feel the outpouring of the Holy Spirit like liquid fire. People were on their feet rejoicing, faces beaming and hands raised. Even people unfamiliar with this setting could not sit still.

Individuals from different walks of life and ethnic backgrounds became united as Jesus was lifted up for the world to see. Heaven came down and glory filled our hearts as we sang in praise and worship to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

God had gone before us, and the Holy Spirit had prepared hearts for this explosion of praise!

The Word of God

The Word of God went forth, taken from Matthew chapter 8, regarding the Roman Centurion putting his faith in the authority of the spoken Word from the mouth of Jesus, which resulted in his servant receiving a miracle of healing.

When the congregation heard this, they erupted in applause—it was incredible!

Concert Overflow

The concert started at 8pm, and the audience would not let the choir stop singing, requesting one song after another. Each time Sincere Praise attempted to leave the platform, the audience cried out for more. They could not get enough of the Gospel in song.

Finally, at 10:15pm, the choir left the platform.

Many people were crying—especially men—overwhelmed by the power of God. They just sobbed in His divine presence.

Next Steps and Reflections

The wonderful privilege of discipling these people now begins. We pray that there will be fruit that remains.

The power of prayer is unfathomable. We want to thank everyone who lifted this mission trip to Slovenia and Croatia up in prayer. God has done far more than we could even ask or think. People received Jesus as their Saviour, others were healed and delivered from the strongholds of the enemy. People testified of being forever changed.

Dates have been provisionally booked for our return in 2026. It is all in the Master’s hands.

Closing Declaration

“The nations shall hear the Gospel and come to the saving knowledge of Jesus!”

What an honour to be co-workers with our blessed Saviour in these last days!

Prayer Points

  1. Pray for those who have heard the Gospel for the first time, that the seed of the Word would germinate and bring forth fruit.
  2. Pray for the pastors and leaders who have been strengthened and encouraged throughout these meetings. Many souls were saved and delivered, and many will now be attending their churches.
  3. Thank God for the new doors that have been opened for 2026.
  4. Let us continue to cover Croatia and Slovenia in prayer.
